Operation against 'New Generation Crime Organizations' in 48 provinces: Detention orders for 1008 suspects

Detention orders were issued for 1008 suspects in the operations carried out this morning against "New Generation Crime Organizations" in 48 provinces.

With the instructions of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Mustafa Çiftçi; As a result of the joint work carried out by the National Intelligence Organization, EGM Intelligence Directorate and the Department of Combating Cyber ​​Crimes, under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security KOM Presidency and the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the suspects caught in the operations were;

-They share posts about recruiting hitmen or doing hitman work through groups created on communication platforms,

-They shared posts praising crimes and criminals, threats, insults, and organization propaganda on their social media accounts,

-They aim to announce their organizational activities through social media posts,

-They try to carry the hostility and competition between criminal organizations to social media channels,

-They want to create the perception that criminal activities are normal and

-It was determined that they were trying to recruit new members to the organization by using social media as a tool.

We continue our fight with determination against those who encourage crime on social media, those who propagate criminal organizations and criminal structures that target our youth.

We congratulate our Heroic Police Officers, Presidencies, Department Heads, MİT Presidency, Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices and all those who contributed.

We will not leave the square to those who hide behind the screens and try to poison our youth, encourage crime, and turn threats and violence into a show of power.

No matter which account, which platform, which dark structure they hide behind; Our state's hand and breath will be on them.
