وفي بيان آخر قال الجيش الإسرائيلي إن "حزب الله أطلق في وقت سابق من صباح اليوم (الأحد)، مسيرتين انتحاريتين باتجاه قوات جيش الدفاع التي تسيطر على المنطقة الأمنية في جنوب لبنان. وقد أطلق المقاتلون النار باتجاه إحدى المسيرتين واعترضوها. لا إصابات في صفوف قواتنا، ويهاجم جيش الدفاع في هذه الأثناء في جنوب لبنان ردا على ذلك".

وأضاف: "يعمل جيش الدفاع في هذه الأثناء، وسيواصل العمل بقوة في مواجهة المحاولات المتكررة لتنظيم حزب الله الإرهابي للمساس بقواتنا".
