Russia is open to international cooperation in the field of science and education; 77 intergovernmental agreements on mutual recognition of education have now been concluded, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Konstantin Mogilevsky said on Thursday at the XII St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures.

“Implementing international projects, international programs in the field of higher education and science, we, of course, are completely open to the world. We only have an agreement on mutual recognition of education - intergovernmental - 77 of them. We, on the part of the world majority, are now developing the most active interaction,” Mogilevsky said at the panel discussion “Synthesis of cultures and traditions: a civilizational advantage or a historical challenge?”

He noted that being a leader in global competition is possible only through openness to the world.
