The head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Sergei Kravtsov, said that assessments for behavior in schools will become a guideline for students.

On September 1, 2026, testing of a system for assessing the behavior of students in grades 2–8 began in 10 schools in each region.

Based on the results of testing, a three-level model for assessing behavior was determined to be the most effective and acceptable: “exemplary”, “acceptable” and “unacceptable”.

MOSCOW, September 24 - RIA Novosti. Assessment for behavior in schools will become a guideline for students, said the head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Sergei Kravtsov.

“This year, in all regions, the implementation of this model (behavior assessment - ed.) will be implemented in 10 schools... This is a kind of benchmark for schoolchildren, because, unfortunately, we have certain cases in schools when behavior goes beyond certain limits,” Kravtsov said in an interview for the Pozdnyakov program on the NTV channel.

He noted that a rating for behavior will not be a signal to law enforcement agencies.
