South Chungcheong Province provides 500 million won in emergency recovery expenses to five cities and counties affected by heavy rain.

South Chungcheong Province announced on the 10th that it will provide a total of 500 million won in emergency recovery expenses to five cities and counties, including Seosan, Nonsan, Dangjin, Buyeo, and Taean, that have suffered damage from recent torrential rain.

In the province, it was calculated that a total of 2.1 billion won worth of damage was caused due to heavy rain that lasted from the 28th of last month to the 1st of this month.

Damage to public facilities was 4 landslides, and damage to private facilities was 184 cases, including 5 houses, 113 cases of agricultural land and crops, and 65 cases of agricultural and forestry facilities.

This emergency recovery fund will be used to restore damaged facilities and stabilize the lives of residents in the five cities and counties that suffered damage from torrential rain.

South Chungcheong Province plans to support recovery efforts to quickly restore damaged facilities and prevent further damage.

An official from South Chungcheong Province said, “We will focus our administrative power to quickly restore damaged facilities so that residents can regain stability in their lives.”
