A collection of recent trends in united front work and economic and social development in Yunnan

1. On September 22, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce released the "Top 500 Chinese Private Enterprises in 2026" in Tianjin. Two companies from Yunnan were on the list, namely Yunnan Yuxi Yukun Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. and Yunnan Qujing Chenggang Iron and Steel (Group) Co., Ltd.

2. On September 22, Zhao Junmin, member of the Standing Committee of the Yunnan Provincial Party Committee, conducted a survey in Kunming and went deep into private enterprises in manufacturing, digital economy, biomedicine and other fields. He also visited the Provincial New Federation and the Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce to learn more about enterprise development and united front work.

3. From September 21st to 27th, the Yunnan Provincial Ethnic Unity and Progress Publicity Week was fully launched. All states (cities) in the province coordinated with multiple points and made special efforts to carry out various activities such as legal education lectures and cultural performances to cultivate an atmosphere of ethnic unity.

4. On September 21, the 2026 "Building Dreams Together·Voice of the National Gate" and the China-Vietnam Mid-Autumn Festival Cultural Gathering Event for Overseas Chinese Connect were held in Hekou County, Honghe Prefecture. Using the Mid-Autumn Festival as a media and culture as a bridge, we shared the friendship between neighbors and painted a picture of friendship.

5. On September 21, Mengzi City, Honghe Prefecture held the "Mengcheng New Thoughts" (third phase) symposium, with the theme of "Gathering overseas intellectuals and talents to empower Mengzi's opening to the outside world", giving full play to the United Front's advantages of gathering talents, intensive intelligence, and extensive connections to build consensus and gather wisdom for the high-quality development of Mengzi City.

6. 7. On September 20, Lanping County, Nujiang Prefecture launched the 2026 "Overseas Chinese Love-Medical Team" activity to deliver medicines and medicines to benefit the people. 9. On September 19, an off-site Yunnan Chamber of Commerce work symposium was held in Changzhou, Jiangsu. The meeting closely followed the theme of "Gathering the power of Yunnan businessmen and jointly drawing a new chapter in Yunling", guiding foreign Yunnan businessmen to support their hometown and gain momentum for high-quality development in Yunnan.

10. Recently, representatives of the New Social Class Association of Funing County, Wenshan Prefecture actively participated in the "Harvest Song" rice field music festival with the theme of "Yunshang Naye Harvest Song Praise for Thousand Years of 'Na' Culture", using united front power to empower local characteristic "Na" culture, and help revitalize rural cultural tourism and national unity.

11. Recently, representatives of Huangpu relatives from Dehong and Kunming gathered in Zhaotong to carry out a series of social exchange activities to "share the feelings of Huangpu and continue to serve the country" to relive the prosperous years, commemorate the revolutionary martyrs, and discuss the original mission.
