Dong Jun said that China and Laos share a common destiny and share a special friendship of "comrades and brothers". Both sides resolutely implement the important consensus reached by General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and President Xi Jinping and General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith, and insist on promoting exchanges and cooperation from a strategic perspective. In June this year, China and Laos established a "3+3" strategic dialogue mechanism on diplomacy, national defense and public security. The two militaries should make good use of this platform and strengthen strategic coordination. We are willing to further intensify high-level exchanges with Laos, promote practical cooperation in various fields to improve quality and efficiency, build a closer and more meaningful relationship between the two militaries, provide strong support for building an all-weather China-Laos community with a shared future in the new era, and work together to maintain regional stability.

Kham Luang said that Laos sincerely appreciates and admires the great achievements made by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China with Comrade Xi Jinping as its core in the construction of the Chinese party, state and army. It always highly values ​​its deep friendship with its Chinese brothers and firmly adheres to the one-China principle. It is willing to work with China to follow the strategic consensus of the top leaders of the two parties and two countries, strengthen high-level communication and exchanges at all levels between the two militaries, and promote practical cooperation in all fields to achieve more results.

Before the talks, Dong Jun held a welcome ceremony for Kan Liang and accompanied him to review the honor guard of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
