Russia and China are working on a joint lunar data center, the two main segments of which will be in Russia and China.

Agreements between Roscosmos and the Russian Academy of Sciences define various areas of cooperation with Chinese colleagues: from joint analysis of scientific data to mutual participation in elements of lunar missions.

MOSCOW, September 26 – RIA Novosti. Russia and China are working on a joint data center for the Moon, the two main segments of which will be in Russia and China, Dmitry Zarubin, leading engineer, coordinator of international projects at the Space Research Institute (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences, told RIA Novosti.

“For example, work is underway on a joint data center for the Moon and deep space - two main segments, Russian and Chinese, and the possibility for the participation of other countries,” Zarubin said.
