Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi recently visited Mongolia and met with Mongolian President Khürelsukh yesterday. During the meeting, he reiterated the "one-China principle" and did not support "Taiwan independence" and other remarks. In response, my country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated today (14th) that the relevant content has seriously harmed my country's sovereignty, and criticized China for repeatedly spreading falsehoods about the "One-China Principle" through interactions with other countries, confusing right and wrong, and attempting to confuse the international community. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued the most solemn refutation and condemnation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Taiwan, the Republic of China, is a sovereign and independent country and is not affiliated with the People's Republic of China. This is an undeniable objective fact and the current status of the Taiwan Strait. Any untrue statement intended to discredit Taiwan's sovereign status through speeches or joint statements cannot change this indisputable fact.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs once again strongly calls on the international community to seriously face China's long-term behavior of undermining the sovereign decisions of other countries through various means of coercion and inducement. This is not only a suppression against Taiwan, but also a major challenge to the global democratic system and international legal order.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated that our country will continue to deepen cooperation with all countries with similar ideals and adhere to the democratic front.
