Geraci scores a hat-trick in Dortmund's win over Villarreal in the Champions League

Guinean striker Serho Djerassi scored three times in an exciting victory for his German team, Borussia Dortmund, over Spain's Villarreal, 3-2, in the first round of the Champions League, on Tuesday evening.

After a negative first half, Dortmund took the lead with an own goal scored by Villarreal's Renato Vega by mistake against his own team in the 53rd minute of the match that was held at Signal Iduna Park, the stronghold of the German team.

The visitors equalized with a goal by Santiago Moreno in the 66th minute.

But Geraci restored Dortmund's advantage with a goal in the 80th minute, and added a second goal from a penalty kick in the 85th minute, giving the Germans a 3-1 lead.

But Villarreal reduced the gap with an own goal, accidentally scored by Geraci himself against Dortmund in the 93rd minute, ending the match with an exciting victory for the hosts.

The Spanish team, Real Betis, achieved an exciting victory outside its stadium against its French host, Lille, in the first round of the group stage of the European Champions League.
