The deputy clarified that the employee will be able to use up to two days a year if it is necessary to accompany a mother or father over 70 years of age to a doctor’s appointment, examination, planned hospitalization or discharge from the hospital.
“Days can be used separately, and if necessary, only part of the working day can be taken. Absence from work can be confirmed with a record or certificate from a medical organization. The parent’s diagnosis will not need to be reported to the employer,” he added.
