Inspection of the Osuchów Foundation: suspicions of political financing from 1.5%

According to the audit findings, the foundation financed events and political activities of Grzegorz Braun's party, using money from 1.5 percent. tax.

In December 2025, the head of the National Institute of Freedom-Center for the Development of Civil Society announced that the Osuchowa Foundation, whose president is Włodzimierz Skalik, MP of the Confederation of the Crown of Poland, and Grzegorz Braun is a member of the supervisory board and leader of the Foundation, did not submit its report for 2024 on time. This meant that the organization lost the right to raise funds from 1.5 percent. tax.

Already then, suspicions arose that the money received so far was used to finance the political activities of the Confederation of the Crown of Poland. Director of NIW-CRSO, Michał Braun, submitted a request to the head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister to conduct an inspection at the Osuchów Foundation. Jan Grabiec agreed to the application.
