A 70-year-old man surnamed Zhang was drunk and riding his motorcycle in the opposite direction on the northbound section of National Highway No. 1 last night. The Third Highway Police Brigade of the National Highway Police Station was informed and stopped him for investigation. In addition to issuing a fine according to the violation of road traffic management penalty regulations, a breathalyzer test was conducted and the measured value reached 0.50 mg/L. He was suspected of a public danger crime. The National Highway Police issued a report in accordance with the law and transferred him for investigation.

At 6:34 pm last night, the Third Highway Police Brigade of the National Highway Police Department received a report that a motorcyclist was riding on the national highway in the opposite direction on the 169-kilometer northbound National Highway 1 (Taichung Shengang Road Section).
