A shocking incident of secret filming and assault in the women's bathroom of the library was reported on the campus of a college in Hualien! A female student was preparing to use the toilet in the women's restroom on the third floor of the library on the evening of the 8th. She was keenly aware of an unusual noise next door and was surprised to see someone holding a smartphone from above the partition to take photos. The female student stopped on the spot and tried to block the door. Unexpectedly, the male student forced his way out and even hugged him from behind and covered his mouth, saying "it was just a mistake." The female student struggled to escape and called for help. With the help of enthusiastic people and friends, she called the police. Afterwards, she bravely disclosed the process and vowed to "never reconcile"! The school stated that the case has been received and has entered the gender equality investigation process, and that it will strengthen manpower and school security patrols.
The murdered female student recounted the horrifying process through an online post today, saying that when she entered the women's restroom on the third floor of the library on the evening of the 8th, she habitually checked for pinholes first. Suddenly she heard someone entering the women's restroom in a deliberately lowered voice, and then saw a dark blue mobile phone peeking over the partition to take pictures. She immediately yelled, "What are you doing!" and rushed out of the cubicle, trying to hold down the opponent's door panel, but she was unable to do so and was rushed out. The female student turned to run away but was still caught up. The suspect actually hugged her from behind and covered her mouth. The man said, "Don't scream! I just went wrong."

In extreme panic, the female student screamed for help through the seams in her hands and struggled to escape. However, there was no response when she pressed the school's emergency bell or called 110. When she escaped to the door, she was lucky enough to meet a passing male who helped to contain the suspect. The police have transferred the male student involved to justice and have seized relevant evidence. The school is very grateful to the female student for speaking up bravely to expose the crime. Since the school occupies a large area and has limited manpower for nighttime school security maintenance, the school will strengthen the school police patrol manpower in the future.
