Sub-Saharan Africa will receive €380 million in additional funding by 2026.

"European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has announced that the EU will provide almost 710 million euros to support displaced people and host communities in sub-Saharan Africa, as well as emergency assistance for people affected by crises around the world," reads a release published on the European Commission website.
