China cited the fact that the two countries agreed to establish a 'China-US constructive strategic and stable relationship based on respect, fairness, and equality' as the first achievement. The expression 'based on respect, fairness, and equality' was added to the preface of 'constructive strategic and stable relations' proposed by China at the Beijing summit in May this year.
Wang Yi, director of the Central Foreign Affairs Office of the Communist Party of China and Minister of Foreign Affairs, who accompanied President Xi's visit to the United States, said in a separate explanatory material that day, "Respect means respecting each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity, the social system and path of development each person chooses, and the other party's core interests and major concerns. On trade issues, the two leaders said, "They affirmed the positive role of the economic and trade negotiation mechanisms of the two countries and the negotiation results of the economic and trade teams of the two countries," and again presented as achievements the items already agreed upon in May, such as the establishment of mechanisms such as the Trade Commission, mutually equal tariff reductions for goods worth 30 billion dollars (approximately 40.8 trillion won), and extension of the truce of the 'tariff war'.

However, the fact that U.S. exports such as agricultural products, fish, seafood, logs, wood products, and medical devices, as well as Chinese exports such as small home appliances, toys, and children's car seats are subject to tariff reductions, and that China plans to import at least 10 million tons of American coal in 2027 and 2028, respectively, were included only in the White House fact sheet and were omitted from China's announcement.
In addition, in relation to rare earths and other key minerals, which were the main agenda of this summit, the White House said, "We are continuing consultations to resolve U.S. concerns about supply chain shortages. We aim to restore supply to an appropriate level," but China did not mention the rare earths issue.
In addition, contrary to the White House's explanation that "the two leaders discussed ongoing international issues such as Russia, North Korea, and Iran," China did not mention anything related to Russia or North Korea.
