Viktor Orban announced the start of national resistance to the new Hungarian government

BUDAPEST, September 13 - RIA Novosti. Former Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said he was returning to the political struggle against the country's new government led by Peter Magyar.

"We were patient - perhaps even more than we should have been. And we were fair, given the way they behaved, perhaps even more than they should have been... Five months have passed. This stage is over. That's it, this is the end. This cannot continue. The time for national resistance has come. Patience is over, fair treatment is over, all unilateral gestures are over. We must pick up the gauntlet and fight," Orbán said, delivering a speech on the occasion of the opening of the political season in the city of Ketsche.

According to him, the right-wing forces in Hungary want the country to be sovereign, while the Tisza government wants to turn it into a colony.
