Aleksandar Vucic handed over the duties of Serbian President to Ana Brnabic

Aleksandar Vucic transferred the duties of the President of Serbia to the Chairman of the National Assembly (Parliament) of the country, Ana Brnabic. This was reported by Politika.

Brnabic is the first open representative of a non-traditional sexual orientation (the international LGBT public movement is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation) to serve as Speaker of the Serbian Parliament. In 2025, she came to Kyiv and called Ukraine a friend of Serbia, noting that Belgrade fully supports the country on its path to the European Union.

“The transfer of powers took place at the Presidency of Serbia at Andrichev Crown with the signing of a protocol and the transfer of official documentation, reports, a register of gifts and the seal of the President of the Republic,” the publication said.
