Taiwan Traditional Chinese Medicine Cultural Life Museum opens in Jinhua, Zhejiang

The museum brings together more than 100 special exhibits, including Taiwan’s local traditional Chinese medicine, medicinal food, dietary, biotechnology and health care and other categories, building a physical display platform for cultural mutual learning and industrial exchanges in the field of traditional Chinese medicine across the Taiwan Strait.

With the opening of the Taiwan Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture and Life Museum, many Taiwanese specialty products are on display locally. "A variety of Taiwan's specialty products and health care products are on display this time. We hope to rely on the exhibition hall platform to display and promote specialty products and deepen cross-strait exchanges and cooperation in the traditional Chinese medicine health care industry." Wu Haoxun, vice chairman of the Taiwan Rural Revitalization and Industrial Development Association, said.

The exhibition area in the Taiwan Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture and Life Museum has modern health care-related exhibition items, covering biological health care products, healthy snack foods, specialty tea drinks and other categories, showing the integrated development of modern processing technology, biotechnology and traditional health care concepts. “I have purchased a lot of special products and plan to bring them to my family and friends,” said local citizen Li Hongyan.

There is also a creative display area in the exhibition hall, which focuses on presenting nearly 120 innovations designed to empower the traditional Chinese medicine industry. Many design agencies have dug deep into the cultural core of traditional Chinese medicine and integrated classical medical imagery and oriental aesthetics into product development and packaging.

Yu Jianguo, a member of the Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Kuomintang Revolutionary Committee, said that next, the Taiwan Traditional Chinese Medicine Cultural Life Museum will use exhibits as a carrier to show the characteristic health industry, expand industry docking channels, and facilitate cross-strait interactions in the fields of medicine, food, and health care.
