The Prosecutor General's Office approved the charges in the case of a fixed match between Khimki and Alania

The Prosecutor General's Office of Russia approved the indictment in the criminal case of a match-fixing between the teams “Khimki” and “Alania”. The department reported this to Lenta.ru.

Those involved in the case are match inspector Yuri Chebotarev, chief referee Andrei Fisenko, assistants Artem Perov and Khamid Talaev, as well as former referee Pavel Stipidi. They are charged under Article 184 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Exerting unlawful influence on the result of an official sports competition”).

The indictment contained details of the case, from which it follows that Khimki’s victory in the match against Alania, held on November 20, 2023, was paid for by the head of the football club, Khasan Dzhioev. In Chechnya, through the intermediary Stipidi, he offered Fisenko two million rubles for the outcome of the game in favor of his players. The judge agreed to accept the reward.

As a result, the game ended in victory for the Moscow region team with a score of 4:1. After this, Dzhioev handed over the promised amount to Fisenko, who shared it with the participants in the conspiracy: assistants Perov and Talaev received 200 thousand rubles each, and Chebotarev received 400 thousand rubles.

The criminal case was sent for consideration on the merits to the Akhmatovsky District Court of Grozny.
