Chen Tingfei establishes agricultural support association, Wu Zhengren supports taking over the Tainan Municipal Government

Democratic Progressive Party candidate for Tainan mayor Chen Tingfei established the Agricultural Support Association today. Chen Tingfei awarded the battle flag to the president Wu Zhengren, and certified the president of each farmers' association support association, rallying the power of Tainan's agricultural community to support Chen Tingfei to take over the Tainan municipal government and continue to work hard for farmers.

Wu Zhengren said that he originally hoped that Chen Tingfei would join the Economic Committee of the Legislative Yuan and speak for farmers. Along the way, he can say with certainty that "Chen Tingfei understands the needs of farmers more deeply than the farmers." He pointed out that Chen Tingfei is not only familiar with the problems faced by farmers, but also can see the gaps in the system from the central perspective. She has thoughtful ideas for farmers and has long been committed to the development of Tainan's agriculture. He hopes that farmers' associations from all walks of life will support people who can really do things and become Chen Tingfei's strongest backing.

Chen Tingfei said that after all, farmers "depend on the weather" and agricultural policies cannot only remedy disasters after they occur, but must create a complete "four-season agriculture and fishery" upgrade blueprint from systems, technology, production and sales to the market. In the future, a complete agricultural and fishery information platform will be established, and farmers' health insurance, farmers' occupational disaster insurance, agricultural insurance and farmers' retirement savings will be gradually promoted, and a "three guarantees and one fund" security system will be established to connect central and local resources, so that young people have a system when they return home, farmers have protection for their hard work, and "Tainan flavor" spreads across Taiwan and the world.

Chen Tingfei emphasized that the starting point of all policies is to "make farmers better." Taking the continuous damage caused by Typhoon Danas as an example, she continued to seek assistance from the central government to provide assistance to farmers whose flowering and fruiting of Wendan pomelo were affected this year. In July, the Ministry of Agriculture announced that Wendan pomelo in Tainan City was a natural disaster cash assistance area, with an aid of 80,000 yuan per hectare, so that affected farmers can receive substantial support.

Chen Tingfei said that in the future, she will continue to work with farmers from "disaster relief" to "disaster prevention" and from "production" to "branding" to create a more resilient, secure and competitive Tainan agriculture.
