27 EU member states and representatives of 51 countries condemned Russia's attacks on Ukraine

Representatives of 27 EU member states and 51 countries, including the United Kingdom, Israel, Australia, South Korea and Japan, made a joint statement in New York, USA, before the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) meeting on Ukraine.

In the statement, a message of solidarity with Ukraine was given and it was stated that Russia had escalated its attacks against civilians and civilian infrastructure throughout Ukraine, and that this situation was of deep concern.

The statement stated that Ukraine has accepted a "full, immediate and unconditional" ceasefire since March 2025, and added: "We call on Russia to finally do the same as a necessary step towards meaningful diplomacy and negotiations leading to peace." The expression was used.

The statement called on Russia to ensure the return of Ukrainian civilians and prisoners of war to their country in order to ensure trust between the parties, saying, "Ukraine wants peace.
