أظهر البحث العكسي عن الفيديو أن لقطات منه وردت في مقطع دعائي نشره موقع الإعلام الحربي التابع لجماعة الحوثي، وذلك في 24 أكتوبر/ تشرين الأول 2021.
وقتها، كان التعليق المصاحب للفيديو يقول: "ويشفِ صدور قوم مؤمنين – عملية ربيع النصر"، في إشارة إلى تحركات عسكرية حوثية في أكتوبر 2021، بغرض بسط السيطرة على مناطق في محافظتي مأرب وشبوة.
وفي نفس التاريخ أوردت مواقع يمنية لقطات ظهرت خلال الفيديو المتداول، كُتب عليها "الإعلام الحربي"، مع تعليق يقول: "عملية ربيع النصر.. القوات المسلحة اليمنية بصدد تنفيذ عمليات عسكرية داخل مدينة مأرب وتدعو كافة مواطنين مدينة مأرب بالابتعاد من المقرات العسكرية التابعة للمرتزقة".
