VANK recruits the first class of ‘Global AI National Assembly Public Relations Ambassadors’ for teenagers and young adults using AI technology

(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Seong Do-hyeon = Cyber ​​diplomatic mission VANK (Director Park Ki-tae) announced on the 16th that it is recruiting 'Global AI National Assembly Public Relations Ambassadors' (Global AI National Policy Public Relations Ambassadors) where teenagers and young adults design national policies and laws using artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

This project was designed to establish the young generation as ‘AI legislative sovereigns’ beyond simple voters in a four-year cycle.

Participants can apply without coding skills or legal expertise, and the 100 selected ambassadors will focus on three core platforms.

The three major platforms are AI legislators, AI lawmakers, and AI international organization secretaries.

VANK will publicly recruit participants online (koreachanger.one) until October 12th.

Afterwards, after screening, successful candidates will be announced on October 14th, and an online Metaverse launching ceremony will be held at 10 am on the 20th of the same month.

At the launch ceremony, Director Park Ki-tae will give a special keynote lecture on the topic, 'In the age of AI, we are the AI ​​lawmakers who are changing the Republic of Korea!'

Afterwards, researchers will provide special lectures on drafting laws and ordinances, building AI agent-based lawmakers' offices, and creating campaigns and digital content.

Successful applicants will work based on a four-stage roadmap, including problem discovery, policy and budget evaluation and legislation, establishment of a digital AI mock parliament, and design of the future Republic of Korea.

Those with outstanding performance will be awarded an official appointment letter, and all participants will be provided with a public diplomacy kit containing the 'AI Diplomat' book and a world map to promote Korea.
