AKP MP shared the behind-the-scenes of Tugay's visit: 'Our President has a special instruction,' he said, and described the moments when Tugay was 'ecstatic'

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Cemil Tugay, who resigned from CHP and was 'transferred' to AKP, was visited by AKP General Secretary Eyyüp Kadir İnan, along with MPs and mayors.

AKP Izmir Deputy Şebnem Bursalı, who was in the delegation in question, told TV100 what happened during the meeting.

Making a statement about how Cemil Tugay was welcomed in the Izmir AKP organization, Bursalı stated that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a 'special instruction' and said:

"The AK Party is a broad political movement in which our citizens from different walks of life can express themselves. The basis in our understanding of politics is common values and the will to serve our country. Of course, every new process brings with it a period of harmony and mutual recognition. The priority of our Izmir organization is to serve our city and our fellow citizens. Mutual dialogue, sincerity and common goals will be decisive in this process. But I can say that our President and Chairman have a special instruction for the entire AK Party organization, especially us deputies: At the point of serving Izmir, Cemil Bey We will always be its supporters. Our General Secretary, Mr. Eyüp Kadir İnan, also stated during our visit: "We are not like other parties. We will spend our energy on Izmir without wasting time on polemics and discussions."

Bursalı said that Tugay talked about his dialogues with AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during the visit. Stating that the Brigade was impressed by President Erdoğan's command of Izmir's issues, AKP deputy Bursalı said, "During our visit, we established a constructive communication that is open to mutual exchange of views. The value of communication in politics is not just talking, but listening to each other and being able to seek solutions on common issues."
