André Luis, from the Missão Party, presents proposals for the government of Maranhão on the agenda in São Luís

André Luis, from Missão, completed his schedule in the morning in the center of São Luís. The candidate walked through Praça Deodoro, talked to voters, listened to demands and presented proposals for the Maranhão government.

Among the topics covered, André Luis spoke about public policies aimed at women, the elderly, people with disabilities and people in socially vulnerable situations.

"Our project for the government of the state of Maranhão is to always go to the root of our problems to guarantee the rights of elderly women, people with disabilities and those in social vulnerability. We need to understand that the government will not be able to do everything. We need to understand that it is the trivialization of paternity, which has caused many problems in our society. Today, regrettably, 70 to 80% of men abandon their wives when their children have some type of disability and for us at the Missão Party to present profound measures to resolve the wounds in our society. We were recognized by the International Economist Journal as the only program that can make Brazil and Maranhão truly develop, putting pressure on parents to take responsibility, not only in financial matters, but also in terms of presence and care for their families, because that is what will take care of our homes”, stated the candidate.

Elections 2026

The 2026 elections will be held on October 4, in the first round. If necessary, the second round will take place on October 25th for the positions of president of the Republic and governor.

In voting, voters will choose candidates for the positions of state deputy, federal deputy, two senators, governor and president.

The electoral campaign continues until October 3, the day before the first round. In the case of a second round, advertising will resume and may take place until October 24th.
