PCB candidate promises priority to women, elderly people and people with disabilities in Maranhão

"Women, the elderly, people with disabilities will have total priority, because here in the PCB government we will deal with public inclusion policies for the elderly, people with disabilities and women. We will expand shelters for these women, because here in Maranhão it is still in the ranking of feminicide. It is not enough just to have paper. It is enough for the State to also be with these women, protecting them through public policies. So, in the PCB government we will deal with this issue with great care, the elderly, women, people with disability”, stated the candidate.

The 2026 elections will be held on October 4, in the first round. If necessary, the second round will take place on October 25th for the positions of president of the Republic and governor.
