Theft from a pregnant suspect in Ankara, goods worth 170 thousand liras were stolen

In the work carried out by the Ankara Public Order Branch Directorate's Theft and Pickpocketing Bureau teams under the coordination of the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the suspect of the house theft incident that took place in Gölbaşı on September 21 was identified.

During the investigation, it was determined that the female suspect, who was learned to be pregnant, came to the scene wearing a chador and a hat in order not to be recognized, entered a house with an unlocked door and stole money and jewelry worth approximately 170 thousand liras.

It was determined that the suspect, who changed his clothes in the park after the incident, took a taxi and fled the area.

As a result of the team's work, the suspect, who was caught while he was about to go to Konya by bus, was arrested by the judgeship.

It was learned that the suspect had 152 criminal records for theft and was sentenced to 260 years in prison.
