Apple introduces Tap to Pay on iPhone in 8 new countries including Argentina, Colombia and Panama

With its official statement today, Apple announced that it has expanded the coverage area of ​​its popular payment technology Tap to Pay on iPhone feature. The company has launched this innovative contactless payment solution in eight new countries in Latin America: Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama and Peru. Unfortunately, Türkiye is not on the list.

This strategic move allows businesses in the region to accept payments securely and quickly directly via iPhone devices without the need for any additional hardware. Apple continues to expand its financial technologies on a global scale in order to contribute to digital transformation processes.
