ASELSAN KORKUT 35 system was introduced to the international delegation

ASELSAN hosted an international delegation from 12 countries at the Ministry of National Defense Karapınar Shooting Test and Evaluation Group Command test site located in Karapınar district of Konya.

In the demonstration held within the scope of the shooting tests, the system's ability to perform precise shooting while on the move, as well as its ability to detect, track, engage and destroy targets under representative operational conditions, were demonstrated.

In the demonstrations held in different scenarios, the focus was on the kamikaze UAV defense capability of the KORKUT 35 system, which is effective against warplanes, cruise missiles, air-to-surface missiles, helicopters and UAVs, one of the most common threats of recent years.

The system successfully engaged different UAVs, fixed and delta wing, under representative operational conditions. This demonstration demonstrated the system's performance against different air targets in a dynamic operational environment.

In a different scenario, KORKUT 35 demonstrated its shooting accuracy and shot distribution against a moving land target in a situation where both the system and the target were in motion. The system integrated into the 8x8 tactical wheeled vehicle demonstrated its precision strike capability while engaging a moving target and while on the move.

The firing tests carried out demonstrated KORKUT 35's ability to make precision fires both while on the move and against dynamic air threats such as kamikaze UAVs, emphasizing the system's role as a mobile and effective system for the protection of mobile troops and critical assets and a low-cost air defense solution to low-cost targets.
