Attack at school in Slovakia: A student injured teachers and children with a knife, a 61-year-old woman died

In the morning, one of the 8th grade students of the primary school in Staszków, Slovakia, attacked children and teachers with a sharp object.

According to information provided by the spokeswoman, a 61-year-old teacher died as a result of the attack. The child was transported to the hospital in Martin by helicopter. His condition is critical. Another injured person, a 44-year-old woman, was transported to a hospital in Žilina with a serious chest injury.

Emergency services and police are working at the scene. The circumstances of the tragedy are being investigated. The perpetrator's motives are not yet known.
