The patrol sent to the site found a 52-year-old man pointing a hunting gun at his partner and her child. At one point, there was a struggle between the man and the woman's son and the gun fired. Based on the testimony of the injured party, witnesses and the collected evidence, the 52-year-old was charged with three charges. They concern, among others: mental and physical abuse of his partner, as well as illegal possession of two firearms - a shotgun and an air rifle - and ammunition.

The man will also be charged with making criminal threats using a weapon against his partner and her son. Investigators also accuse him of exposing them to a direct threat of loss of life or serious bodily harm by causing a shot from an illegally possessed shotgun.

The District Court in Opole Lubelskie agreed to the request of the police and the prosecutor and the 52-year-old was placed under temporary arrest for three months. The charges against him are punishable by up to 8 years in prison.
