Putin agreed with Zyuganov’s proposal to check the results of the Communist Party elections in some regions

Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with the leaders of parliamentary parties in the Kremlin, agreed with Gennady Zyuganov’s proposal to check the election results in a number of regions.

The head of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Gennady Zyuganov, expressed bewilderment at the party’s performance in some regions.

The President noted that the Central Election Commission had not received any official protests from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, and emphasized that if there are concerns, then the results need to be carefully checked.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with the leaders of parliamentary parties in the Kremlin, agreed with the proposal of the head of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov to check the party’s results in the elections in a number of regions, noting that there were no official complaints about the party to the Central Election Commission.

The head of state on Monday in the Kremlin met with the leadership of political parties that entered the State Duma based on the election results. During the report, Zyuganov, among other things, expressed bewilderment at the indicators achieved by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation in some regions.

“As for checking the election results in individual regions, I agree, everything needs to be checked. However, as the chairman of the Central Election Commission (Ella Pamfilova - ed.) reported to me now, there were no official protests from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation,” Putin reacted.
