Making a statement on his social media account, Gürlek stated that justice has memory and emphasized that under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, they continue to work determinedly to ensure that no unsolved incident remains in the dark, no matter how many years have passed.

Stating that the file regarding the fate of Fadime Görgülü, who disappeared in Aksaray's Ağaçören district in 2007, was re-examined, Gürlek noted that the investigation was deepened with the contradictory statements of family members, re-evaluated evidence and field studies.
Stating that searches were carried out with a cadaver search dog and underground imaging devices at the residence of the missing person, Gürlek continued as follows:
"Within the scope of the investigation, 3 bracelets stated to belong to Fadime Görgülü were seized as a result of the information given by the suspect Hava G. in his statement regarding the occurrence of the incident. As a result of the investigation, Hava G. and İlhan G. were arrested. The investigation to reveal the fate of Fadime Görgülü and all aspects of the incident is continuing meticulously."
10 suspects were caught in a 15-year-old file in Gaziantep
Stating that the file regarding the murder of Mehmet Kaya, who lost his life as a result of an armed attack in Gaziantep on January 3, 2011, was re-examined in all its aspects, Gürlek stated that the HTS records were expanded and re-analyzed, and the contradictions in the witness statements, base signal information, identification reports and suspect statements were evaluated together.
Explaining that it was determined that some suspects were following Mehmet Kaya on the day of the incident and carrying out surveillance activities around the incident, Gürlek said, "In simultaneous operations carried out in Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa and Antalya under the coordination of our Gaziantep Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 10 suspects who were considered to be linked to the incident were caught and detained." he stated.
An 11-year-old file was revealed from a vehicle part in Manisa
Minister Gürlek stated that the file regarding the death of 20-year-old Meral Babacan, who was found dead on the road in Manisa on July 6, 2015, was re-examined.
Stating that the incident was re-enacted and MOBESE and PTS records were re-evaluated in terms of time and distance, Gürlek said:
"It was determined that the vehicle part kept in the judicial custody belonged to the side mirror frame used in certain Volkswagen models. As a result of the comparison with the camera images, the vehicle in the area at the time of the incident was identified. During the interview with the owner of the vehicle, it was learned that the side mirror had been changed before. R.Ç., the owner of the vehicle on the date of the incident, was caught and arrested by the Criminal Judgeship of Peace. These results, obtained after many years, show that the passage of time is not an obstacle to reaching the truth, and re-examination of the evidence with new methods and technologies has important results in clarifying the files. revealed once again."
Gürlek expressed his gratitude to the Aksaray-Ortaköy, Gaziantep and Manisa Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices, who carried out the investigations meticulously, the Aksaray Provincial Gendarmerie Command, the Gaziantep Provincial Police Department, the Manisa Provincial Gendarmerie Command, and the public officials who contributed to the process, who successfully carried out the operations in the field.
