Those who carry out espionage activities against our state's financial intelligence network will be held accountable before the law!
Under the leadership of our President Mr. @RTErdogan; We continue our fight with determination against structures, especially FETO, that attempt to infiltrate our state's institutions and use public resources and critical information systems for organizational purposes.
In the "Political or Military Espionage" investigation carried out with our Istanbul Provincial Police Department under the coordination of our Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office; Important findings have been reached regarding unauthorized transactions and the security of system records regarding the Integrated Financial Intelligence System (EMIS) used by the Financial Crimes Investigation Board (MASAK).
The investigation found that individuals and companies affiliated with the secret structure of FETO/PDY were influential in the development and maintenance of MASAK's critical digital infrastructure between 2012 and 2018.
In the examinations carried out; EMİS software has been developed by AGMLAB A.Ş. since 2012. It was developed by MRD A.Ş. and this company. and Barış Ata A.Ş., which was closed by Decree Law No. 667. Findings were obtained that there were partnership and management relations between the companies and that some partners of the companies assumed high-level responsibilities in the military and IT secret structures of FETO/PDY.
Among these people, there are people who were found to be operating at a responsible level in the Navy, IT, defense industry and Gendarmerie secret structures of the organization; It has been determined that a significant portion of them went abroad before or immediately after the treacherous coup attempt of July 15.
In the technical examinations carried out on EMIS, it was determined that the protection system regarding the List of Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) was disabled and subsequently interrogations were carried out regarding our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, his relatives and some ministers.
Technical findings have been found indicating that there are suspicious situations regarding the integrity of some records in the system and that some data fields may have been deleted subsequently; It has been determined that log (transaction) records that will enable retrospective auditing of the transactions of users with administrative authority (admin) are not kept.
All these findings; It reveals a very serious picture that FETO/PDY not only infiltrated state institutions through personnel, but also may have gained access to the critical financial data of our citizens by structuring on the IT infrastructure of our state's most critical financial intelligence systems.
Within the scope of the investigation, in the simultaneous operation carried out today in Istanbul and Ankara; Legal proceedings have been initiated against 22 suspects, including the person who served as MASAK Deputy Chairman at the time of the incident. 5 of the suspects were caught and detained, arrest warrants were issued for 16 of them, who were determined to be abroad, on charges of political and military espionage, and efforts are continuing to capture 1 suspect.
Within the scope of the investigation, AGMLAB A.Ş. and MRD A.Ş. were seized by court decision and the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund was appointed as trustee. The statements of three former presidents who served as MASAK Presidents during the relevant periods will be taken by the judicial authorities.
