Two-year-old boy freed by firefighters after getting stuck in the railing of Galvani park in Pordenone

The intervention took place in the late afternoon of Sunday 7 September at the playground area of ​​the Galvani park, in Pordenone. A two-year-old boy had his head stuck in the railing that borders the park. The firefighters dismantled the railing to free him: unharmed, he immediately went back to playing

A two-year-old boy got his head stuck in the railing that borders the play area of the Galvani park in Pordenone and was freed by the firefighters in the late afternoon of Sunday 7 September. The little boy was not injured and, once the scare passed, he went back to playing as if nothing had happened.

The rescue

The firefighters intervened around 6pm after the child was stuck in the grate surrounding the play area. When the team arrived, the child was in tears, while his father tried to reassure him. To free him without risk, the rescuers began to dismantle the railing, explaining to the little boy step by step what they were doing and inviting him to stay still and calm.
