Man arrested after breaking into residence and attacking elderly people in São Manuel

According to the Military Police, the man jumped over the property's wall to steal objects. He entered the residence through an unlocked door and attacked the residents with punches and kicks.

During the action, a family member noticed the invasion and went out to ask for help on the street. Neighbors called the police, and agents arrived in time to contain the suspect at the scene.

The man was arrested. He and the elderly couple were taken to the São Manuel Municipal Emergency Room for medical care and physical injury examinations.

Technical expertise was called to the scene of the crime, and the incident was registered at the Judiciary Police Station of Botucatu (SP) as an attempted robbery
