Berhan Şimşek resigned from MYK membership after images of violence

Footage has emerged of the moments when Berhan Şimşek, appointed as the "vice chairman" by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was appointed as the chairman of the CHP by a court decision, used violence against Özlem Şanver.

After the images emerged, Berhan Şimşek announced that he resigned from his CHP MYK membership until the cases against him were concluded.

In the images shared on social media, it was seen that Şimşek beat Şanver and forced him into the house, while Şanver tried to escape.

Upon the application of Özlem Şanver, a restraining order was issued against Şimşek due to psychological and physical violence, and the decision was extended for another two months in June.
