The court freed actor Vladimir Kolganov in a child pornography case

In St. Petersburg, the court released the actor of the series “Streets of Broken Lanterns” Vladimir Kolganov and his friend, entrepreneur Evgeny Kirillov in the case of child pornography. Fontanka reports this.

According to the source, the preventive measure for the defendants was softened, and the criminal case against them was returned to the Investigative Committee to eliminate violations.

Kolganov and Kirillov were sent into custody in 2025. The reason for the initiation of the case was photographs of children that the actor published on his page on social networks, and then they ended up on the darknet. There they were discovered by law enforcement from the United States and sent information to Russia through Interpol.

After this, the regional department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs spoke about the discovery of a porn studio created in St. Petersburg no later than 2015. According to investigators, children from one to two years old were filmed there.

The defendants did not admit guilt.
