Brings celebrates its 35th anniversary with a concert in front of Cologne Cathedral

The band Brings celebrated their 35th anniversary with an acclaimed concert in front of Cologne Cathedral. The Kölsch rockers played hits like “Su lang mer noch am Lääve sin” and “Poppe, Kaate, Danze” in front of around 5,000 fans.

On the song “Superjeile Zick,” which once brought them their breakthrough, they were supported by Stefan Raab - the moderator has known Brings keyboardist Kai Engel since childhood. Florian Silbereisen came on stage as another surprise guest for “Polka, Polka, Polka”.

The five-piece band around the brothers Peter and Stephan Brings actually started out in 1990 as a pure rock band. But she soon became one of the main mood makers in the Rhenish carnival. The musicians are known throughout Germany with their rock and folk songs.
