Trump announces ban on Bombardier aircraft sales in the United States unless produced in the United States

U.S. President Trump said on the 7th that unless Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier starts producing aircraft in the United States, its products will no longer be allowed to be sold in the United States.

Reuters reported that Trump posted on his social platform Truth Social: "Bombardier aircraft are not allowed to be sold in the United States! Their products are not good enough!"

Trump also accused Canada of blocking "great American banks and businesses" across its borders. "They even stopped Gulfstream Aerospace from operating in Canada," he stressed.

"If they want our market, they have to produce it here, and stop treating the United States like a 'piggybank,'" Trump said.

Trump's remarks come as the trade dispute between Washington and Ottawa continues to heat up. This is also one of the controversies caused by Trump's global tariff barriers in his second term, and many U.S. trading partners have expressed dissatisfaction with this.
