Germany can help Ukraine with the return of men of military age. German Foreign Minister Johann Wadeful made this proposal in an interview with Bild.

The minister noted that the German authorities have information about the places of residence of Ukrainians of military age. “Who, for example, receives social benefits or who is registered here, who has residence status... [They] can be notified by the Ukrainian government that they are subject to conscription. I believe that this topic can and should be raised,” said Wadeful.

As the newspaper points out, the head of the German Foreign Ministry advocates that Ukrainian citizens of military age should be returned to their homeland, but he believes that this should happen “without coercion.”
