David Rossi case: shock report, it was not suicide but assault

David Rossi would not have committed suicide but he would have been attacked violently and quickly in his office by at least two large people, and before falling out the window he was conscious, so he most likely tried to defend himself. Once he ended up outside the window he would have tried to cling to the edge and was held by the attackers, perhaps in an attempt at intimidation, but then the grip would have failed and Rossi would have fallen. This is the result of the first technical evaluation after the simulations in Rome, with the help of the RIS, as part of the expertise requested by the parliamentary commission of inquiry into the death of the former head of communications of MPS which occurred in 2013 in Siena.

"At least two attackers"

“The decision and the suicidal movement are excluded,” said Manghi, consultant to the commission together with Marco Nigrisoli, confirming the murder hypothesis: “There was a violent attack and it was unlikely to be a single person because David Rossi was conscious, he was a fit young man” and a single person would “difficultly” have been able to gain the upper hand. So the attackers were "at least two if not three", he continued, and "corpulent" subjects.

“It can be hypothesized that he was attacked in a fairly violent and rapid manner,” observed Nigrisoli, according to whom it is possible that the initial intent was not to kill him: “It seems to have been a process that occurred gradually with the intent to intimidate the person” and that Rossi was hung outside the window. These are very first assessments by the consultants, while the final results will take at least a month.
