Meteorological Administration forecaster Huang Enhong said that the northeast monsoon will weaken tomorrow, and there will only be a little moisture on the windward side in the next three days. There will be local short-lived showers on the north coast of Keelung, the northeast, and the mountainous areas of Greater Taipei, and there will be sporadic short-lived showers in the southern and northern mountainous areas of central Keelung in the afternoon.

"The moisture will increase on Sunday (20th), making it the day with the most moisture in the coming week," Huang Enhong said. Affected by the northerly wind, there will be local short-lived showers north and northeast of Taoyuan on Sunday. There will be scattered short-lived showers in the east, southeast and Hengchun Peninsula. There will also be scattered short-lived showers in the south and other mountainous areas in the afternoon.

Huang Enhong said that the weather will be good for three consecutive days after next Monday (21st). Most places will be cloudy to sunny. Only the north coast and northeastern areas of Keelung will have sporadic short-lived showers. In the afternoon, there will be sporadic short-lived showers in the southern region and the central, eastern and southeastern mountainous areas.

He pointed out that the temperature will be relatively stable in the coming week, with temperatures in various places in the early morning and at night about 23 degrees to 25 degrees; during the day, the high temperature in the north and east can reach 29 degrees to 31 degrees, and in the central and southern parts, it can reach 32 to 33 degrees, and even higher temperatures will occur in some areas.

Currently, tropical depression TD28 in the Pacific Ocean is located 510 kilometers northeast of Guam and 3040 kilometers east of Eluanbi, turning north to northwest at a speed of 28 to 36 kilometers per hour.

Huang Enhong said that TD28 will intensify into a mild typhoon "Dujuan" as soon as tonight and then move towards Japan. It will have no direct impact on the weather in Taiwan. However, people traveling to Japan are reminded that Typhoon Dujuan will intensify into a moderate typhoon in the future.
