China News Service, Macau, September 12 (Reporter Zheng Jiawei) The opening ceremony of the 5th China (Macau) International High-Quality Consumer Expo was held in Macau on the 11th. Exhibitions from provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities such as Guangdong, Shanxi and Qinghai presented together with local characteristic products, covering diverse categories such as general health medicine and high-end technology.

Zhang Xiaosong, deputy director of the Social Responsibility Bureau of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, said in his speech at the opening ceremony that he hopes that through this window, more aid products will enter Macao and even the international market, so as to support rural revitalization with consumption assistance.

This exhibition will set up a rural revitalization themed exhibition area to display the results of targeted assistance and consumption assistance from many central enterprises, providing a Macao international exhibition window for high-quality products from the assisted areas, and accurately connecting with the broad market.

Fu Jianguo, chairman of the organizer Nam Kwong (Group) Co., Ltd., said that in the future, the "one convention and exhibition, two places" model will continue to be deepened, Macao will play its role as a bridge, and help Chinese brands go overseas and Macao's economy will develop moderately diversified.
