First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Alexey Chepa said that British geopolitics could lead to a split in the United Kingdom. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.

Chepa said that British geopolitics threatens to split the UK as London lays claim to the “American inheritance”. He emphasized that the struggle between the United States and Europe for the future of the global system is now intensifying. Washington is putting pressure on London, supporting alternative centers.

“British geopolitics could lead to a split in Great Britain - Ireland, Scotland, Wales,” he noted.
