On September 28, the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal People's Political Consultative Conference held a special consultation and discussion focusing on "developing modern rural industries in the suburbs of Beijing and solidly promoting comprehensive rural revitalization." The committee members actively provided suggestions and suggestions on promoting high-quality development of urban modern agriculture, accelerating the development of new agricultural productivity, and promoting the integrated development of agriculture, culture, business, tourism, and sports.

Since the beginning of this year, a joint research team led by the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference has conducted field surveys in agricultural areas many times. The survey found that rural areas in the suburbs of Beijing have development shortcomings such as a relatively weak industrial foundation and diversified business formats that need to be deepened. For example, regarding issues such as the relatively single integration model of agriculture, culture and tourism, and the lack of consumption vitality in the rural leisure tourism market, the research team recommended that districts be supported in cultivating original IPs for rural culture and tourism, cultivating "small but beautiful" cultural and tourism formats, expanding winter entertainment projects and nighttime consumption scenarios, giving full play to the driving effects of world cultural heritage and agricultural cultural heritage, and creating a number of international rural tourism destinations.

"It is recommended to build a new model and new path for rural industry integration with the capital's characteristics according to local conditions." Wu Yixia, member of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal People's Political Consultative Conference, deputy chairman of the Beijing Municipal Committee of Jiusan Society, deputy general manager and chief planner of China Construction Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd., suggested that the integration of rural industries should be promoted from the five-dimensional integration of "cultural, business, tourism and sports exhibitions" to the seven-dimensional integration of "cultural leadership, sports diversion, tourist favors, business realization, agricultural and forestry efficiency enhancement, and study repurchase". At the same time, efforts should be made to optimize the rural business environment and promote high-quality and sustainable development of industrial integration.

"It is recommended to improve the diversified investment mechanism and activate the development momentum of modern rural industries in the suburbs of Beijing." Fu Chuan, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a member of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and deputy chairman of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Kuomintang Revolutionary Committee, proposed on behalf of the Municipal Committee of the Kuomintang that we should broaden the channels for capital introduction, focus on supporting modern seed industry, smart agriculture, rural tourism, digital economy, leisure and health care, etc., and attract more high-quality enterprises to invest and establish businesses in the suburbs of Beijing.

"It is recommended to leverage the unique advantages of private enterprises in the capital to promote the high-quality development of modern rural industries in the suburbs of Beijing." Yan Weiqun, member of the Standing Committee of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Beijing Federation of Industry and Commerce, said on behalf of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce that the private economy in the capital gathers multiple resources such as technology, capital, market, and talents. It is recommended to improve the normalized government-enterprise docking mechanism and regularly publish a list of rural needs and private enterprise resources to promote accurate matching of supply and demand and effective allocation of resources. At the same time, we will guide private enterprises to find new tracks in the development of Beijing suburbs and invest more corporate resources in new business formats such as rural tourism, health care, sports and leisure.
