"China Development Report 2026" premiered in Beijing

Yang Zhengwei, deputy director of the Development Research Center of the State Council and member of the Party Leadership Group, said that the "China Development Report" has been released for four consecutive years and has always adhered to the original intention of objectively recording the historical process of Chinese modernization and in-depth research on various problems and challenges faced by China's development. 2025 is the year when the “14th Five-Year Plan” comes to an end and the “15th Five-Year Plan” is planned. It is also an extraordinary year in the process of Chinese modernization. The "China Development Report 2026" records the new progress made in China's development in 2025, providing a rich sample for all parties to observe China's development. The report also comprehensively records China's development achievements at the theoretical, institutional and practical levels during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.
