Prolonged closure of C1 airspace at Catania airport due to volcanic ash from Etna

Sac, the management company of Catania airport communicates that, "due to the emission of volcanic ash into the atmosphere and the current direction of the prevailing winds, the closure of the spaces corresponding to sector C1 has been extended".
