آنذاك، كتب الحساب الناشر (merchantnavyinsights) مُعلقًا: "ظهرت لقطات عالية الدقة جديدة تُظهر هجومًا روسيًا بطائرات مسيّرة على سفينة الشحن MV AGN RAGNAR... يوم السبت (الذي يوافق يوم 25 يوليو)"، وهو ما أكدته تقارير إخبارية حول وقوع الهجوم في ذلك اليوم.
وتزامنت عودة الفيديو إلى التداول مجددًا بعدما قالت جماعة الحوثي المدعومة من إيران، في بيان الاثنين، إنها استهدفت السفينة النفطية "أمزان" أمام سواحل مدينة ينبع بالبحر الأحمر "بصاروخ باليستي وكانت الإصابة دقيقة ومباشرة وأدت إلى نشوب حريق في السفينة".
